Happy Mother's Day 2012

Mom's are the most wonderful gift God has given to us. They are selfless and never tire loving their children. They are firm and strong yet gentle and tender. They have the capacity to run a home yet they can be a strong manager or office worker in their respective work.

Being a mom myself, I now realize how blessed I am for being a mom. Not every woman is blessed to be a mother. Looking at my own mom now, I can't help but think how she is able to raise six of us, knowing that it is never easy to juggle household chores, office and running a small business on the side.

I salute my Mom and I am forever grateful of her. To my Mom, I love you very much and may you remain healthy always and be showered with God's blessings. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in the world.

Laundry Time is Bonding Time

Yesterday, one of our house helpers went to their home so nobody does the laundry anymore. So to ease up MIL's work load, hubby and me decided to do laundry of our clothes and office uniforms during the evening, after our work.

Last night, the three of us - me, hubby, and Keona did the laundry and at the same time, had our evening bath. While me and hubby were busy doing the laundry, our little girl had also fun playing on the water, chasing all the bubbles she can get out of the laundry. Our household chores may have been added during the evening but it's also a great time for us to bond together since we don't have time to be with each other during morning because we always rush going to work. So our laundry time in the evening becomes our bonding time. I love it because we really do have fun:).

Tighter schedule

We have no house help left. She has to return home to take care of her ailing mom. It's been also a month now that I have not found a yaya yet for my lil girl. The result is a tighter schedule for me and hubby. I need to wake up early to do the laundry, clean up while hubby does the cooking. That's if Keona does not wake up. If she does, our schedule is ruined because she would cry hard. She doesn't want to be left alone in bed while we are out working on the household chores. Hope we'll be able to find new ones and our schedule will ease up. This is a middle of the night post, while Keona is in her dreamland and hubby's just finished playing his fave dota. Whew! need to grab something for my midnight snacks:).
