Happy Birthday to Me

Today is my birthday. I'm very happy to have been blessed with the gift of life and a loving family. We have a simple celebration at the office. I just bought roasted chicken, bulalo and pancit bihon for our lunch and mangoes as a fruit dessert.

At home, me and hubby bought roasted chicken too, pork liempo, pancit from Shanghai restaurant. MIL bought an ice cream for me. We eat together at dinner. I'm really contented with my life and all I wish for my birthday is good health for me and the whole family, inner peace and harmonious environment.

Thanks to all who greeted me via FB and those who sent me text messages and phone call. I really appreciate the effort and the greetings.

Proudmom got 2 Free Lunches in a Row

As I have mentioned in my earlier post, two of my office mates are gonna celebrate their birthdays this week. So yesterday was the birthday of the other one. I ate lunch with them. Yummy pancit, kare-kare, lumpia shanghai were served. There was also the roasted chicken but I did not eat it to avoid allergy.

Today is the birthday of the other one. She told me already to have my lunch in their office. I donnu yet what she'll gonna serve. Freebies are always a delight:). To my officemates C and V, happy birthday to both of you. More blessings to come:)

October birthdays!

A lot of the people close to me are celebrating their birthday on the month of October. Yesterday, my office mate Ate Ping celebrated her birthday with us. She ordered chicken from Goldie's, a family feast consist of 12 pieces regular size fried chicken. Then pancit guisado at Shanghai Restaurant. Pancit is for "long life".hehe. We also had durian ice cream from Allegro. I was very full yesterday. No expense for lunch and afternoon snacks courtesy of ate Ping:). Happy birthday Ate Ping! Birthday Momma!

It's my birthday today. Lot of things/blessings to be thankful for - my family, my sweet friends. I have a little "birthday celebration" with my officemates today. I ordered "family feast" fried chicken at Goldies, pancit at Shanghai restaurant and Alfred made a kinilaw (like a sushi) for me.
