Our Tot Loves to Play at the Mall

Keona has been loving to stroll at the mall and she always wants to go to the play area. She has become bigger now and she befriends with other kids she meets wherever she is-mall, bank, restaurant and play areas in malls.

Stroll at People's Park

Last Sunday, the three of us went to People's Park and had a stroll. Little girl had a blast. She enjoyed so much. We spend a considerable time at the children park because it is there that she wants to stay longer.

New Found Friend

This is a photo of Keona in one of our visits in the play area in the mall. Here, she found a new friend for herself and they play together. I exposed her to many children whenever we get out from the house so that she'll know how to deal with them. She's the only little one at home and she's not used to be in the company with other children. We plan to enroll her in a playschool next year to associate herself with more children.

Happy Sunday

It's a beautiful Sunday and I love Sundays. I just stayed home in the morning cleaning and playing with little girl Keona. In the afternoon, Keona did not sleep so we went to the church to attend mass at 4 pm. Keona can't really stay put inside the church. She plays in the kneeler and she plays MIL's bracelets.

I can't let her be with hubby for a long time because she might get the colds that hubby has. The best part when going to a Sunday afternoon mass is the snack.LOLz. We had our snacks again at Jollibee and little Keona did not even tasted the hamburger bought for her because she prefers her fave French fries.

Holiday and a Bonding with Angels

Tomorrow is a national holiday in celebration for the "Araw ng Kagitingan".  As planned, we'll be going to one of our working student's house and we'll bond together there. We'll just cook our foods then we'll have fun chit-chatting and singing.

Hubby on the other hand will have his tooth extracted so he'll go to his dentist.  He will just wait for me in downtown area and we'll go back home together.  It's a nice weekend.  Have a great day friends:).

Keona loves the Minnie Mouse clubhouse lately. She would shout "meeska mooska mickey mouse" together with Mickey Mouse so that the clubhouse will appear.

She also likes to sing the Hotdog Dance as well. She would make me and hubby dance with her. It's a long weekend since Monday is a holiday. Happy weekend everyone!

Jollibee is Kid's Favorite

Jollibee surely captured the heart of the kids. Their TV commercial is very powerful that a lot of kids really wanted to dine at this popular food chain. They are wise enough to target kids in their ads because really, when it comes to malling or deciding where to eat, the kiddos become the boss. So where ever they want to dine, their wants are the ones being followed.

Today, we don't have work because it's declared a holiday. We went malling and little girl once again enjoyed the rides in the mall. While she was riding a makeshift mickey mouse in the kid's play area, she just suddenly shout "Jollibee, I want that Jollibee!". She then cried and shouted so loud looking at the kid in our side. I then look at the direction where she was facing and I saw the kid holding and hugging tight her Jollibee stuffed toy. That's when I realized why she went wild. She wants to take hold of Jollibee.

Hubby and me decided to buy her one. Hubby told me to ask the mother where they bought that Jollibee stuffed toy who was busy taking pictures of her kid. She told it can be bought at the Jollibee food counter. We right away went upstairs to buy one. The price is 290 pesos but we should buy first any Jollibee meals to be able to buy that stuffed toy.

Whoaaa! It was really never in our plan and budget to buy that stuffed toy but bought it for we know it will make Keona really happy. Every time we go to Jollibee and dine, she always hug that big, life-size statue of Jollibee. Now that she has the stuffed toy, she can hug it anytime she wants.

Weekend with Snow White and Cinderella

Little girl's fave shifted from Hi 5 dances to Snow White and Cinderella. She now knows how to operate the DVD all by herself. She just keeps on changing between the two and she keeps on singing the songs that Snow White and Cinderella sang.

Funny thing is, she demands that hubby dance with her sometimes, mimicking the dance of Cinderella with the seven dwarfs.LOLz. Happy weekend friends:).

Hi 5 Monster Dance

My little girl loves a lot this Monster Dance song by Hi 5. Hubby downloaded a video of it and she would look at the video and dance with it. But when it's her time to go to bed, she wants hubby to sing it for her using the rabbit puppet that she has. The problem is, hubby could not memorize the lyrics yet so he asked me to google it.

It's Monday and Loving it!

I don't usually like Mondays, honestly. I always felt it's too far for the weekend. But today, I feel different. I have that enthusiasm to be up for work. Yeah, I knew it. I love the weather today. It's cool and there has been sporadic rain showers. Happy start of the week friends!

Fast Learner

Little Keona learns very fast. She can now count 1 to 10 and she recognizes already some of the letters in the Alphabet. She imitates what we say and do so we are very careful so she can imitate what is right and proper to say or do.

Lil girl got my bag and was trying to look something on what's inside. She mess up with my pressed powder and lipstick and scanned the contents of my wallet. She's very serious, as if looking for something. Hubby was amused with her so he captured it on his cam.

Lil Girl Wants an Earring

Lil Keona keeps on telling me this evening that she wants an earring. I would have wanted to have her ear pierced when she was still an infant so she can wear earrings but we were occupied with visits to the hospital due to her frequent fever because of recurrent infection.

She noticed Mom's earrings so she wanted to have one for herself. I told her that it's painful to have her ear pierced and asked her if it is OK for her to go to Doctor Mike and she doesn't want it anymore:). Hubby told me that she can have earrings when she reach 3 years old. He's afraid that lil Keona might scratch it. At 3, she'll be responsible enough to take care of it. My little girl now has already a sense of fashion and wants to beautify herself.LOLz.

Excited...

Yesterday, I have the chance to chat my best friend Marianne. We have not seen for quite a long time now because we are busy with our respective lives juggling motherhood, career, household chores, etc. We agreed to meet today and have our lunch together. HPS#3 - Working date with hubby

It's a beautiful Sunday. Hubby and me have long planned in going to our own house in Mintal to do some cleaning. With Keona's surgical operation, firing and hiring of babysitter and juggling work, we have not visited there for a long time now. There's a thick cloud in the sky outside which is a hint of a coming rain but Mom said it's gonna be in the late afternoon. We don't go there if there's a rain because we do weeding out of grass outside. Then hubby remembered that it's Manny Pacquiao's boxing fight and he had second thoughts of going to Mintal. But Mom said we can still see it because we have TV there anyways. Though it's a little delayed for it's not pay-per -view. So we push through with our plan of going to our house. We arrived there at around 11:00 o'clock in the morning. We just ordered beef soup and rice at Garrido's for our lunch.

There's a piece of paper at the fence and when I look at it, it's a water bill. Not that big because nobody lives in there so I won't pay it yet. I miss our house. It was not as dirty and as grassy as I have expected because there's not much rain for the past months. But a little more dusty inside and I notice a lot of cobwebs. I started pulling off the grasses in front, while hubby worked on the left side. When I was about half finished of the area, the rain poured down so we had to stop. While working outside the house, we were monitoring the boxing fights. We continued our work when the rain stopped and while the under cards are the ones playing. When the main event started, we stopped doing our work which was almost finished by that time and we were glued on the TV until it was finished. Nice fight. We went back home at around 5:00 in the afternoon to catch up Keona's antibiotic schedule which was 6:30 in the evening.
